The Carter Hughes Knowledge Institute was founded by Hughes McLean in May of 2023.  After over 20 years of Public Service as a National Subject Matter Expect on Military Veteran Employment and Training, and a Certified Workforce Development professional, Mr. McLean had individually worked with thousands of citizens, and contributed to federal policy and regulatory guidance that affects millions of citizens.  Mr. McLean took notice of many situations where individual citizens were able to hone in on their unique skill set and maximize the opportunities in their career.  Eventually, Mr. McLean arrived at the belief that anyone can maximize their career and enjoy the rewards that come along with it.  Then the question became, ‘what makes the difference in whether or not a person maximizes their career?’.  The answer that Mr. McLean settled on was, ‘the environment’.  The environment makes the difference in whether or not a person maximizes their career.  So, the Carter Hughes Knowledge Institute(CHKI) was created to be an environment that promotes growth, confidence, progress, and productivity.  CHKI is full of reminders of your greatness, reminders of your opportunities, and simple principles and actions that can be done to serve as the foundation for your success.  Our goal is to continue to be a knowledge hub that anyone can come to for guidance and direction on their journey to maximizing the opportunities available to them.
